Cold, hunger, poverty and a war raging all around them meant their lives were very hard. One day, the woodcutter’s wife rescues a baby. A baby girl thrown from one of the many trains that constantly pass through the forest. This baby, this “most precious of cargoes”, will transform the lives of the poor woodcutter’s wife and her husband, as well as those whose paths the child will cross – including the man who threw her from the train. And some will try to protect her, whatever the cost. Their story will reveal the worst and the best in the hearts of men. It’s a universal and timeless tale, with the key to its success—and the secret of its genesis—lying in the life of its author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The documentary covers the last four years of the extraordinary life of the writer-pilot, from his exile in New-York in 1940 to his disappearance in 1944. It’s an intense period for the writer, filled with romantic, political, and artistic intrigues. ‘The Little Prince’ is a shining star of a book. Understanding how this star was born means understanding what unites us, despite the distance and the years. Director Vincent Nguyen and Les Films d’ici Méditerranée trusted us with creating dreamlike 2D keyframe animation sequences for the documentary. We had the privilege of animating evocations of St. Exupéry’s childhood and other moments of reverie. In addition to the 2D scenes, we also contributed to the 3D animation blocking for certain shots. The film is set to be broadcast on Arte at the end of 2023.   Credits Director: Vincent NguyenProduction: Barnabe, Les Films d'ici, Arte France, TV3 3D Animation: EJTSoon on: Arte France, RTVE, TV3, SVT, RTS, RTBF Les Fées Spéciales 2D...

It’s again the duo of directors Maud Sertour and Samy Barras who produced the animated show. The sound and visual experience allows you to discover the Catalan palace from the Middle Ages to today. This new mediation tool will support mediators in their work with the public by offering a visual support to suggest spaces inaccessible to the general public. This experience has been accessible since June 2023.   Credits Production: Département des Pyrénées-Orientales, Opixido et Les Fées Spéciales Supervision: Conseil départementales des Pyrénées-Orientales - Direction des Patrimoines In collaboration with Opixido (Communication and mediation support, teaser, making-of, supervision). The immersion begins 200 million years ago with the times of the Earth and the geological phenomena that formed the specific subsoil of this region. Then comes the time of men and the discovery of centuries of wine exploitation from antiquity to the present day. On this device, we created the animated sequences that populate the landscapes of the film. It is a sober animation aesthetic, only in sketched white line that was chosen to be superimposed on the richness of the filmed images. In collaboration with Clap 35, we worked on the "Terroirs of the World" installation. This mediation tool invites visitors to meet 10 winemakers from around the world: France, Germany, Portugal, Japan, California, Australia, and more. Located at the end of the visit, it explains the concept of terroir—an interaction between natural elements such as climate, exposure, environment, soil, fauna, and flora, and the indispensable human know-how. These factors collectively create the unique characteristics of wines. Our studio was responsible for the animation: designing and animating elements that were integrated into the footage and editing done by Clap 35.
