Généalogistes en herbe
The Departmental Archives of the Gard commissioned us to create the credits for their web-series « Généalogistes en herbe ». This order was realized at the same time as the creation of an animated film highlighting the role of the Archives.
For this project, we had carte blanche to propose an animated generic of approximately thirty seconds to introduce a series in shooting about genealogy. The director chose to propose a universe between realism and imagination that gives a living dimension to the archives, and echoes the exercise of mental and narrative projection that genealogical research requires. Within a few seconds, thanks to the motion design animation, the family tree comes to life and invites us to imagine and schematize our past.
