The animated film titled « Hairy Gaul, what a story! » is designed for the exhibition called « Gauls, but Romans!« at the Musée de la Romanité in Nîmes. Narrated by a fictional Gaul, this 6-minute short film aims to dismantle common clichés about the Gauls by blending humor with historical accuracy. It highlights their cultural diversity, their agriculture-based daily life, their advanced urban planning, and their gradual integration into Roman culture following the conquest led by Julius Caesar. Through lively, humorous staging and stylized animation, the film reveals that the Gauls were far more sophisticated than the stereotypes perpetuated by popular imagination.
